VeinLight is a tense, atmospheric survival roguelite that pits you against the crushing weight of a daily quota and the encroaching darkness. You are alone in the mines... or so you think.

🗣️ UNIQUE MECHANIC: VOICE DETECTION

Forget staying silent. In VeinLight, your voice is your shield. The darkness is toxic. If your lantern fails, you have one last defense: Speak, sing, or scream into your microphone. Your real-world voice pushes back the darkness and prevents health drain. Keep talking to survive until you find the light!

⛏️ THE CORE LOOP

• Mine & Collect: Gather coal, rare ores, and mushrooms to fill the plate.
• Race Against Time: You have a strict quota to meet before nightfall.
• Upgrade: Sell your loot to the Merchant. Buy better pickaxes, lanterns, and potions.
• Risk vs. Reward: Dig deeper for valuable iron, or play it safe? The choice is yours.

👹 BEWARE THE TROLL

Failure has consequences. If you miss your daily quota, the Cave Troll awakens in the evening. This massive beast patrols the mines and hunts down those who didn't work hard enough. It cannot be killed yet... RUN!

🎮 KEY FEATURES

• Microphone Interaction: A gameplay mechanic where your voice matters. 🎤
• Roguelite Elements: Permadeath means if you die, you lose your inventory. Only your knowledge remains. 💀
• Pixel-Art Atmosphere: A gritty, retro aesthetic with dynamic lighting and skybox. 🎨
• Luck Graveyard: Gamble your earnings. Will you double your gold or lose it all? 🎲
• Dynamic World: Day/Night cycle, stamina system, and expanding map regions.

🛠️ DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP

I am a Solo Developer working hard to bring new content. Here is what has been added so far:

• ✅ AI: Basic enemies and the new "Cave Troll" boss (Patrol/Chase logic).
• ✅ Visuals: UI overhaul, Pixelation Graphics, Dynamic Sky.
• ✅ Audio: Atmospheric sound design and Voice Input System.

• More map regions and shortcuts.
• New trade items and armor sets.
• Multiplayer (Co-op) mode [Planned for Beta].
